- Prep a new suit by soaking it in a vinegar and water mixture (1 tablespoon white vinegar per quart of water) for 30 minutes before taking it to the pool or the beach. This should prevent dye from bleeding.
- Always remember to remove your silicone pads from the bra pockets if you have them.
- Wash your silicone pads with mild hand or body soap, rinse with cold water, pat them with towel and leave them to air dry.
- Wash your suit immediately after each use with cold water.
- Hand wash it with mild hand or body soap, NO HARSH DETERGENT.
- Do not soak.
- Do not wring out. Instead, lay the suit in a towel, roll the towel up and squeeze gently.
- Lay flat to air dry in shade, STRICTLY NO DRYER.
- Allow to rest at least one day for it to return to its original shape. This is because spandex is a 'memory fabric'.
- Sit on a towel whenever you are sitting on a rough surface will help to protect your suit too.
Swimsuits are like french fries, you can't have just one.
